Field Service Engineer – Chicago, IL (Company Vehicle)

Role OverviewReporting to the Field Service Manager, you are the eyes and ears of Videojet when delivering service and support through customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Travel within a 2‑hour radius of Chicago (occasionally overnight travel). Initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends.
- Provide ongoing care and support for customer equipment.
- Install products and solutions at customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges and problems.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers.
- Promote Videojet service agreements and newer technology to extend market footprint.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel.
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment.
- Basic computer skills: email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Hourly range $28.00–$30.00 USD, eligible for bonus pay. Full-time salary range $90,000–$110,000 USD (subject to experience and qualifications).
