Job Title: Manager of External Financial Reporting
Duration: 3 Months (Could go beyond)
Role
Summary:
- This position is critical in the development of and preparation of International’s external reporting.
- The role includes coordinating and performing activities on behalf of the external reporting team, including information flow and liaising with management.
- This position will perform technical accounting and SEC research to provide management with timely information for analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, new policies, transactions, training, benchmarking, etc.
- Focus on developing team members.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing SEC financial filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, S-3s, S-4s, and others)
- Supporting Proxy Statement preparation and review
- Coordinating financial information transmission between corporate and international operations
- Conducting accounting research and developing position papers
- Monitoring US GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB developments
- Guiding corporate and operational personnel on technical financial matters
- Participating in technical areas like impairment reviews
- Supporting M&A activities and reporting
- Updating accounting policies
- Working with external auditors on disclosures and impairment tests
- Managing reporting issues, budgets, and special projects
- Overseeing XBRL compliance and filings
- Coordinating SEC filing processes with external printers
Experience:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA required
- Big 4 public accounting experience with SEC focus preferred
- At least four years, ideally five
- Strong technical accounting and research skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Results-driven with high-quality standards
