Director, Field Effectiveness, Rare Disease and Oncology - Deerfield, Illinois
Role OverviewIn this role, you will shape and lead the field force effectiveness strategy across Rare Diseases and Oncology. You will be accountable for building and developing high‑impact teams and partnering closely with Commercial Operations and other key functions to optimize performance in the US market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, execution and continuous improvement of all field effectiveness programs and initiatives.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration to enhance field force effectiveness, including the deployment and optimization of digital tools.
- Focus on maximizing the impact of a high‑potential Rare Disease and Oncology pipeline in the US market.
- Build, develop and inspire high‑performing teams to deliver sustained performance improvements.
- Sales Force Effectiveness - Proven track record in designing, executing and optimizing field effectiveness programs and initiatives. Team Leadership and 6+ years of experience is preferred
- Rare Diseases - Experience operating in complex, specialized therapeutic areas and tailoring field strategies to meet unique market and patient needs.
- Biopharmaceuticals - Strong understanding of the biopharma landscape, particularly in specialty care and oncology.
- Commercial Operations - Ability to work closely with Commercial Operations to drive data‑driven performance improvements.
- Digital Tools - Experience leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance field effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.
- Leadership & Team Building - Demonstrated success in building, developing and inspiring high‑impact teams.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership - Skilled at influencing and leading across functions to deliver aligned, strategic initiatives.
