Digital Marketing Intern

Job Summary:

As an intern in Digital, Marketing, or Loyalty you will supports initiatives designed to strengthen the customer experience, deepen customer engagement, and drive business growth across Walgreens. Interns will be aligned to a specific team within Digital, Marketing, or Loyalty, where they will gain hands-on experience contributing to strategic priorities and business initiatives.

Depending on team placement, interns may support areas such as digital customer experiences, marketing strategy and activation, customer engagement, loyalty programs, personalization, and customer insights. The role partners with cross-functional teams to analyze business and customer trends, develop recommendations, and help bring customer-focused strategies to life.

Interns will own a defined project aligned to key business priorities and present findings and recommendations to leadership upon completion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs various activities that contribute to the strategy development process for the assigned business unit.
• Utilizes various tools and resources to analyze information and make recommendations to support the business.
• Provides general day to day support across the various divisions within Walgreens.
• Suggests recommendations to leadership for improving and updating policies and processes.
• May deliver a project aligning to strategic priorities and present to manager/leadership upon completion.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with 2 semesters remaining upon start date
• Experience communicating via written reports and presenting the information in a formal or classroom setting.
• Experience collaborating with teams
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Digital/Technology, Communications, Economics, Analytics, or a related field are preferred.
• Interest in digital experiences, marketing, customer engagement, loyalty, or consumer behavior.
• Demonstrated ability to use data, insights, and/or research to solve problems and develop recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and recommendations.
• Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, and interest in understanding customer needs and behaviors.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Salary Range: $15 - $33.65 / Hourly
