Base pay: $17.00/hr – $20.00/hr
Responsibilities- Open and close the store in absence of store management, including system start‑ups, cash handling, inventory checks, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
- Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions.
- Coach and assist team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
- Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, record scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
- Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating displays.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure correct pricing, signage, and compliance with local regulations.
- Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments as necessary.
- Maintain the store’s exterior and interior appearance, request repairs, and keep the store compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
- Separate food items and ensure proper stock rotation for consumables.
- Perform bag checks for team members before leaving the store.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and laws, and report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, using best practices in greeting, eye contact, courtesy, and proactive service.
- Hold store keys and open/close without management as required.
- Assist in inventory control, pricing, and promotional displays.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
- Act as liaison between management and non‑management team members, communicating tasks and reporting issues.
- Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
