Account Manager

Overview

Alera Group is looking for an Employee Benefits Enterprise Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Prior experience in large group preferred.

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

• Support Advisors with client onboarding, renewals, and service delivery by maintaining accurate records and executing established workflows
• Collaborate on RFPs, analyze carrier proposals, and assist with presentations and communications to support client decision-making
• Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams to provide timely, professional service and stay current on industry trends

• Required knowledge of medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• State license in Life/Health preferred, must become licensed within 90 days if not
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, problem-solving skills, sense of urgency, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities

This job can be hybrid in IL.

Salary range is $80K to $95K per year.
