Lodge Initiatives are looking for a Graduate Trainee Business Analyst / Developer to join our team based in Sandycroft, Flintshire. You'll join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 £ 26,000, dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities of the Graduate Trainee Business Analyst / Developer:

As a Graduate Trainee Business Analyst / Developer, you ll embark on a structured development journey, working closely with one of our company Directors and an existing experienced Analyst / Developer to gain hands-on experience and personalised mentorship.

Your first 12 months will involve a variety of impactful projects, including:

• Conducting sales, purchasing, and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Developing and maintaining databases, reporting tools, and analysis dashboards
• Collaborating with teams across the business to improve processes and efficiency
• Designing data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions

This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, thrives on continuous learning, and enjoys turning data and ideas into meaningful business outcomes.

What we are looking for in our Graduate Trainee Business Analyst / Developer:

You ll bring a strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and a drive to learn. Specifically:

• Minimum 2:1 Honours Degree in a Maths, Science, Computing.
• At least Grade B (A Level) in Maths or equivalent quantitative qualification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL) would be an advantage
