Teacher Active are working with a spectacular Primary School located in Pentre. The Primary School ensure the children at the heart of everything they do and work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community to help support them through their learning. They create a great community ethos and set out a self-improving motto to inspire young children to do just that, becoming independent and confident individuals.

The Primary School is looking to take on an inspiring and collaborative Primary School Teacher on a temporary basis, leading to a potential permanent position for the right Primary School Teacher. The successful candidate will be working across Key Stage 2 / KS2 and will be responsible to plan and prepare for lessons, keep track of students progress, manage the work of teaching assistants all whilst creating an engaging environment for pupils.

The role will be full time between the times of 08:30am – 15:30pm so the successful candidate will need to be flexible to commit to this.

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status / NQT
Experience teaching up to Key Stage 2 / KS2
Excellent planning, organisation and classroom management
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
