Role Title : Work Based Learning Practitioner (Assessor) - Business Services:
Leadership & Management and Business Administration

Location : Deeside

Contract Type : Permanent: full time

Salary: £ 33,912 - £38,218.

We currently have a vacancy for a Work Based Learning Practitioner in Leadership & Management & Business Admin within Business Services

The practitioner will assess Level 2, 3, 4 & 5 Leadership & Management and Level 2 & 3 in Business Admin in line with Awarding organisation requirements linked to skills and occupational competence. They will work with a caseload of learners determined by the relevant college caseload formula. The Practitioner will conduct Training Needs Analysis for learners, enrolment on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as delivery of underpinning knowledge sessions to learners either on a 1-1 or workshop basis (recommended maximum group size
8)

To monitor learners' progress towards qualifications, give them constructive feedback and guide them to prepare an e-portfolio of evidence.

To assess learner portfolios and present completed portfolios for internal quality assurance.

Essential Requirements

• A professionally relevant qualification at minimum of Level 4 or equivalent
• Possess or be willing to work towards an assessors qualification (TAQA)
• Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
• Proven industry experience within a professionally relevant area
• Experience of liaising and partnering with external managers in industry
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to the maintenance and development of quality standards within education

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
