The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Coleg Cambria to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in developing essential mathematical skills, helping them build confidence and achieve their educational, employment, and personal goals.
About the Role
As a Functional Skills Maths Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners across a range of programmes,
Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
Support learners in developing their numeracy, problem-solving, and practical mathematical skills,
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience teaching Maths or Functional Skills within Further Education, training, or a related setting,
Strong knowledge of Functional Skills Maths qualifications and curriculum requirements,
Excellent communication and organisational skills,
A passion for supporting and developing learners of all abilities,
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
