Are you a hands‑on design engineer with a creative edge? Want to work on truly unique, customer‑led projects from concept to completion?
Bespoke (BIAB) Design Engineer Responsibilities- Turn client concepts into detailed 2D/3D designs
- Liaise with Sales, Distributors and Customers to refine and deliver bespoke solutions
- Specify 12 V, 230 V, and LPG systems to current standards
- Build BOMs, estimate costs, and ensure designs are right the first time
- Produce high‑quality manufacturing drawings using Solid Works
- Solid Works 3D CAD and engineering drawing expertise
- Creative thinking with a practical, hands‑on approach
- Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Understanding of assemblies, furniture design, and light electrical/gas installations
- 5 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade B or above)
- Proven experience in Solid Works (to be demonstrated at interview)
- Experience in the creation of BOMs and drawings for manufacture
