Electrical Coordinator
- Coordinate installation and testing. Work with contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure electrical systems (power, lighting, control panels, etc.) are installed according to drawings and specifications, then scheduled for testing.
- Assist with commissioning activities. Oversee or track key steps like pre‑commissioning checks, energisation, functional testing, and system validation.
- Review documentation. Check drawings, schematics, and method statements; ensure test certificates, inspection reports, and commissioning records are complete and compliant.
- Troubleshoot issues. When something doesn't work during testing, help identify faults, coordinate fixes, and ensure systems are retested.
- Ensure compliance and safety. Confirm that all work meets relevant electrical standards, regulations, and site safety requirements before systems go live.
- Liaise with stakeholders. Communicate between project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to keep commissioning on schedule and resolve issues quickly.
- Support handover. Ensure everything is documented, signed off, and ready for client or operations team to take over, including O&M manuals and training where needed.
