Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer

Location:

Shotton, Flintshire (CH5) Salary: £40,000 £ 45,000  bonus and excellent benefits Were recruiting an Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Shotton. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of asset reliability, improve plant availability and reduce unplanned downtime within a fast-paced process environment. The role Youll work closely with maintenance, operations and engineering teams to develop a more proactive, data-led approach to asset care.

Key responsibilities will include:
Developing risk-based preventative maintenance plans Completing asset condition, criticality and obsolescence surveys Maintaining an Asset Risk Register and delivering improvement plans Using RCA, FMEA and RCM techniques to improve reliability and MTBF Introducing and developing condition-monitoring techniques, including vibration analysis, thermography and lubrication analysis Planning and coordinating maintenance shutdowns and line outages Reviewing critical spares and improving inventory accuracy and availability Supporting capital projects with scopes, business cases and acceptance criteria Coaching operators in basic asset care and autonomous maintenance Ensuring all work meets required health, safety, quality and environmental standards What were looking for HNC or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline Practical engineering experience within manufacturing, process, production or another high-volume environment Working knowledge of reliability tools such as FMEA, RCA and RCM
