Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to provide support during a busy period for a well-established business based in Blaby. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the finance team, take ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities, and ensure financial records are maintained accurately.

Key Responsibilities Processing high-volume purchase ledger invoices and supplier queries Maintaining the sales ledger and supporting credit control activities Carrying out daily and monthly bank reconciliations Managing employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations Preparing and processing payment runs Supporting with general finance administration and record keeping Assisting with month-end duties as required Ensuring financial information is accurate, up to date, and compliant with company procedures About You Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role Strong working knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes Experience completing bank reconciliations and payment runs Confident managing expenses and credit card transactions Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Able to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems What's on Offer Immediate start available 3-4 month contract with potential for extension Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a busy finance function Fully office-based role in Blaby (5 days per week) Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
