We're working with a high-profile, fast-paced UK business seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team.
This is more than a month-end role. You'll work closely with operational teams and 3PL providers, using financial insight to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
It's a large, complex operation with genuine long-term career opportunities for someone who wants to develop and make an impact.
The role
- Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets and insightful variance analysis
- Build strong relationships across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office
- Partner with operational teams and multiple 3PLs to understand performance and cost drivers
- Identify efficiencies, savings and process improvements
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Analyse large volumes of data and turn it into clear, actionable insight
- Support inter-departmental transfers, projects and wider Finance initiatives
