Health Care Assistant – Dermatology

A position has arisen for the post of Health Care Assistant for Dermatology within The Quay Health Centre, Connah's Quay. The post is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The team consists of nursing staff, HCAs and domestic staff who work together to provide high levels of patient care. The team is flexible in its approach to all aspects of patient care, always putting patient needs first.

Main duties of the job
  • Assist registered nurses in delivering patient care in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient, their family, and carers.
  • Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan, carrying out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse during the shift.
  • Support minor outpatient procedures and demonstrate clear understanding of infection prevention and ANTT.
  • Have experience or understanding of outpatient clinics and minor outpatient procedures.
Language requirements

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
