Flexible Full-time | Permanent About the opportunity Via is partnering with an established professional services organisation looking for an experienced People Advisor to join its People team in Central London. This is a broad generalist HR role where you'll work closely with employees, managers and senior stakeholders, including Partners, across several areas of the business. You'll provide practical day-to-day HR advice while supporting employee relations, performance and development, family leave, wellbeing, recruitment and wider People initiatives.

The role would suit an HR/People Advisor who is comfortable independently managing employee relations matters and wants to develop their career within a professional, stakeholder-led environment. What you'll be doing Build strong relationships with managers, senior stakeholders and employees across your client groups Develop a good understanding of the teams you support, their priorities and their people requirements Provide practical advice on HR policies, processes and employment matters Independently manage disciplinary, grievance and performance-related cases Keep up to date with UK employment legislation and HR best practice Support managers with performance and development conversations Manage family-friendly leave processes, including maternity, paternity and other relevant leave Prepare documentation and advise employees on their leave, benefits and entitlements Support employee wellbeing conversations and initiatives Assist with remuneration and salary review processes, including data preparation and analysis Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment across your areas Analyse HR data and management information to identify trends and provide useful insights Support the implementation of People policies, projects and initiatives Work closely with the People Business Partner on broader people priorities Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes across the People team Support and share knowledge with other members of the team What we're looking for At least 2 years' experience working at HR Advisor, People Advisor or a similar level Strong generalist HR experience Hands-on experience independently managing employee relations cases

Experience with disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes Good knowledge of UK employment legislation Strong understanding of HR policies and processes Confidence advising managers and senior stakeholders Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately Strong relationship-building and communication skills Good organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence working with HR systems and employee data Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills Ability to analyse HR data and communicate key findings A proactive approach and confidence taking ownership of your workload Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging or sensitive situations
