Job Description & How to Apply Below
Working as part of a busy payroll function, you will support the accurate and timely processing of UK payrolls while also assisting with selected international payroll activities.
This role offers exposure to a diverse workforce, a range of payroll systems and processes, and the opportunity to work closely with HR, Finance, and external providers. Your new role As Payroll Officer, you will support the end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and deadlines are consistently met. You will process statutory payroll submissions, support legislative reporting requirements and maintain accurate payroll records, including deductions, third-party payments and reconciliations.
You will also administer pension processes, assist with year-end payroll activities and respond to payroll-related queries from employees and managers. In addition, you will support internal controls, audit requirements and payroll compliance, while assisting with overseas payroll administration when required. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring previous payroll administration experience, alongside a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, NIC and RTI requirements.
You will be confident managing payroll records, deductions and pension administration, with strong Excel and payroll systems experience.
You will have excellent attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy and the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and identify opportunities for system improvements. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a salary of up to £35,000 per annum in a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week.
The benefits package includes 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to five extra days, as well as private medical cover and a company pension scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing international organisation, with exposure to both UK and international payroll operations. You will be part of a supportive team environment with opportunities for development, alongside flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with the expectation to be office-based two days per week.
