Site Services - Cleaner

Swift Temps are working with our client based in North Wales, a candidate who would be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, organised and compliant working environments across sites.
Responsibilities:

- Complete daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules across designated areas of the site
Carry out cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming and waste removal in production areas and offices
Clean welfare areas, including toilets, changing rooms, showers, sinks
Ensure cleaning activities are completed to the required standard
Identify areas that require additional cleaning
Use suitable cleaning methods for the area, using walk behind cleaning equipment
Support the reduction of dust, contamination, slip risks
Support completion of site facilities schedules, including routine checks, cleaning tasks, restocking and general upkeep
Replenish soap, barrier cream, skin conditioning cream, toilet rolls, hand towels and hygiene supplies
Empty and manage waste bins in production, warehouse and office and welfare areas
Support laundry cover during holidays, sickness or operational needs
Carry out low level window cleaning
Car park maintenance
Use the correct PPE, RPE, cleaning equipment and materials for task
Work safely at all times
Support good environmental practice by segregating waste correctly
Maintain awareness of lead manufacturing risks, including contamination control, hygiene requirements and the need to prevent the spread of dust or residues

The successful candidate should be able too:

- Work reliably to a planned cleaning or facilities schedule  Work safely in a manufacturing environment  Follow instructions, procedures and site rules  Work both independently and as part of a team  maintain consistent standards without direct supervision  Communicate issues clearly to managers, supervisors and colleagues
Desirable:

- Previous industrial cleaning experience  Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment  Knowledge of industrial cleaning machinery  FLT  Reach/cherry pick
