Responsibilities
- Follow all Health, Safety and Quality standards, including correct use of PPE, RPE and LEV.
- Fabricate components using sections and plate materials ranging from 4mm to 30mm+ thickness.
- Carry out JIG work where required.
- Read and work from technical drawings, ensuring tolerances are met.
- Identify and report faults or production issues promptly.
- Maintain clean and safe working areas.
- Complete production inspection records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to maintain workflow.
- Previous factory production experience (Essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (Essential)
- Knowledge of fabrication and MAGS welding (Mild Steel) (Essential)
- Experience using workshop machinery including Band Saw and Pedestal Drill (Essential)
- JIG work experience (Advantageous)
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Time Served:
City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent) - 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- Coded welding qualifications (Advantageous)
