Yard / Plant Operative (Rotating Weekly Shifts)

Location: Deeside
Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime available (weekdays and weekends)
Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour + £10 shift allowance

Shift Pattern This position operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am 2:00pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm 10:00pm

The Opportunity Our client is looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Yard / Plant Operative to join their busy operation in Deeside. This is a varied, hands-on role that involves operating plant machinery, sorting recyclable materials, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and supporting the day-to-day running of the site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience operating mobile plant machinery who enjoys working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload containers and curtain-sided vehicles using a Forklift Truck.
• Operate mobile plant equipment such as a Loading Shovel, 360 Excavator and Bobcat (where appropriately licensed).
• Sort recyclable materials and remove non-conforming items from incoming loads.
