Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Analyst (Level1) to support our operations through high‑quality sample analysis and contribute to scientific testing and data‑driven insights for a healthier future.
Key Responsibilities- Complete sample analysis within required timescales and quality standards, ensuring compliance with the quality management system.
- Handle complex analytical techniques with confidence.
- Interpret and report analytical data effectively.
- Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sample workflows.
- Understand and meet customer requirements.
- Investigate and report non‑conformance incidents on the QMS.
- Resolve equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Train colleagues to required standards.
- Perform safe manual handling of chemicals and equipment, following Health & Safety policies, COSHH risk assessments, and PPE requirements.
- Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
- Ideally some laboratory experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
- Good communication and excellent IT skills.
- Hours per week: 37
- Days per week:
Monday – Friday, 8am–4pm - Contract:
Full Time & Permanent - Salary: £25,878
- Annual leave starting at 25 days (rising to 30) plus 8 public holidays (pro rata for part‑time)
