Hinckley, Leicestershire Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator / Sales Estimator to join a growing manufacturing business in Hinckley. IMPORTANT:
Candidates MUST have previous manufacturing estimating experience, including preparing quotations and calculating costs for manufactured products. This role would suit someone with a strong background in manufacturing sales administration who is confident managing customer enquiries, preparing estimates and quotations, processing orders and liaising with production teams.

Key Responsibilities Review customer enquiries, specifications and requirements to understand manufacturing needs. Prepare accurate estimates, costings and customer quotations. Calculate costs based on materials, labour, production requirements and manufacturing processes. Obtain supplier and material costs to support accurate pricing. Process customer orders accurately from initial enquiry through to delivery. Prepare quotations, order confirmations and relevant documentation. Follow up quotations and support the conversion of enquiries into orders.

Provide customers with pricing, lead times, order updates and delivery information. Liaise with Production, Procurement, Quality and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintain accurate customer, pricing and order information within CRM/ERP systems. Monitor order progress and proactively communicate any delays or issues. Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of service. Support the wider sales team with administration and account management activities.

Essential Skills & Experience Manufacturing estimating experience is ESSENTIAL. Proven experience preparing estimates, costings and quotations within a manufacturing environment. Experience calculating costs involving materials, labour and/or manufacturing processes. Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machining or a similar production environment.

Experience with in Sales Administration, Sales Estimating, Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Support. Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and production teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Proactive, commercially aware and customer-focused approach. Benefits £26,000 - £29,000 salary.
