Physician - Urologist - Mercy Health Defiance Clinic and Hospital in Defiance, Ohio

Mercy Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our dynamic team in Defiance, Ohio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive urology services at Mercy Health Defiance Clinic and Hospital, offering care to a diverse patient population. The clinic is equipped with on-site radiology and laboratory facilities, with telemedicine services available to enhance patient care.

• Conduct office visits, consultations, and perform urological procedures and surgeries at Mercy Health Defiance Clinic and Hospital.
• Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including LPNs and RNs, to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.
• Utilize integrated ancillary services, such as LCSW, Lab and Radiology, CDE, Outpatient Surgical Services, and access to a 23-bed inpatient unit, all located on the same campus.
• Work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering a great work-life balance.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of a Urology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Valid Ohio medical license or the ability to obtain one.

• Strong knowledge and clinical expertise in urological care.
• Proficiency in performing a range of urological procedures and surgeries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms is a plus.
