Packaging Operator

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Packaging Operators for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH!

Packaging Operators will help run production equipment, package and label products, monitor quality, and keep the production area running smoothly.

• $17.00/hour

• 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery and production equipment
• Package, label, and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment adjustments
• Use hand tools for minor adjustments and repairs
• Complete routine quality and production checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
• Follow GMP and FDA guidelines
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Complete production paperwork and report any issues to the appropriate team members

• Manufacturing or packaging experience is preferred, but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Previous experience with machinery, automation, or PLCs is a plus
• Ability to work overtime as needed
