Article Trainee

Company Description  Shishir Gupta and Company is a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Dehra Dun, focused on providing clients with reliable financial, accounting, income tax, goods and service tax and compliance support.

Role Description  The Article Trainee will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s office in Dehra Dun. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with accounting and bookkeeping, supporting audit and assurance assignments, and helping prepare financial statements and reports. The trainee will also assist in tax computations, filing returns, and maintaining compliance-related documentation under guidance from senior team members. The role involves gathering and organizing client information, maintaining accurate records, and following internal processes and professional standards.

The Article Trainee is expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn, maintain confidentiality, communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
CA student wishing to undergo practical training as per the requirements of the ICAI.
