Job Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the institution's academic programs, ensuring alignment with mission and long‑term goals.
Oversee curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement across all departments.
Lead and mentor faculty, promoting excellence in teaching, research, and professional development.
Develop and implement policies that uphold academic standards, accreditation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with senior management to formulate and monitor the academic budget, resource allocation, and staffing plans.
Facilitate interdisciplinary initiatives, partnerships with industry, and community engagement projects.
Represent the institution at academic forums, conferences, and accreditation bodies.
Ensure the effective use of technology and digital tools to enhance learning, teaching, and administrative processes.
Champion an inclusive and diverse learning environment that supports the success of all students and staff.
Essential Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of higher‑education governance, curriculum design, and accreditation standards.
Strong understanding of Indian higher‑education regulations and policy frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary academic teams.
Desired Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive academic leadership experience.
Hands‑on experience in curriculum development, program accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
Experience managing sizable academic budgets and resource planning.
Demonstrated involvement in community outreach, industry partnerships, or international collaborations.
