Looking for an experienced Head – Training to lead student development and employability initiatives. The role will focus on preparing students for the corporate world through structured programs in communication skills, personality development, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, leadership, and behavioral competencies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the university's student training and employability strategy.
Design and deliver training programs on:
-Communication and presentation skills
-Personality development and professional grooming
-Interview preparation and mock interviews ○ Group discussions and business communication
-Corporate etiquette and workplace readiness
-Leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
-Emotional intelligence and behavioral effectiveness
Partner with the Placement Team to enhance students' readiness for campus recruitment. Assess training needs, track program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
Build relationships with industry professionals for guest lectures, workshops, and mentoring sessions.
Lead and mentor the training team to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Desired Profile
Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Education, Management, Communication, or a related field.
12–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, Corporate Training, Student Development, Employability Training, or related areas.
Experience with universities, educational institutions, or corporate L&D functions will be preferred.
Strong expertise in soft skills, behavioral training, communication development, and interview coaching. Key Competencies
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
Ability to engage, mentor, and inspire students.
Deep understanding of corporate expectations and employability skills.
