• Oversee all aspects of the used car department, including appraisals, pricing, and inventory control.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Manage trade‑in evaluations and ensure accurate market‑based pricing.
• Monitor market trends and adjust inventory mix accordingly.
• Train and motivate the sales team to achieve department goals.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or similar role in automotive retail.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, market trends, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet performance targets.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems and CRM tools.
