Job SummaryWe are looking to add a heavy highway/sitework estimator to our team. This position will require a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. The individual must be able to effectively communicate with the leadership team, sub‑contractors, vendors, suppliers, engineering firms, etc., and work flexible hours.
Duties & Responsibilities- Perform takeoffs, solicit subs, build estimates, and assist in handoff of award.
- Review and complete understanding of contract specifications and drawings.
- Conduct site visits and perform field measurements.
- HCSS, Agtek, and Viewpoint knowledge preferred.
- Earthwork take‑off software and bidding software knowledge required.
- Ability to work well in a close team setting.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Must be capable of bidding work as a GC as well as a subcontractor.
- 5+ years of excavation estimating experience necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience estimating in Southern Chicago and Northern Indiana markets.

This role is targeting a range of $100‑165k for a seasoned professional and is eligible for the company's incentive bonus program.
