Dispatcher – Transdev North America, DeKalb, IL
Non-CBA PositionWe are looking for a customer service‑oriented professional dedicated to safety.
Benefits Include- Competitive compensation: minimum $15.00 / hour – maximum $18.00 / hour

- Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance, route timing, incidents, etc.
- Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no‑shows, cancellations and missed trips.
- Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
- Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
- Other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED;
Technical Degree preferred. - 3–5 years’ experience dispatching.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather and humidity; 100% of the job is performed outside, alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped, slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
