Overview

Vytl One is currently recruiting for a MS State licensed Pharmacy Technician for Stennis Community Pharmacy. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced pharmacy technician who enjoys interacting with their patients and who is looking to broaden their pharmacy career. Pharmacy hours: M-F 8-6, Sat 8-12:30.

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluate information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and place completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

• Active Pharmacy Technician license with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• In good standing with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
