This position is located in our Dekalb clinic.

We are looking for a Therapist who can create a patient experience that embodies the Doctors of Physical Therapy vision: to ensure outcomes via evidence-based practice and literature supported treatment which maximizes patient service, quality care, and clinical efficiency.

  • Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
  • Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and design a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened patient success.
  • Demonstrate consistent compliance excellence by developing short and long-term goals for patients.
  • Implement plan of care.
  • Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
  • Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in ongoing treatment.
  • Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.
  • Plan and execute discharge of patient.
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.
