The salary range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description
This position is capable of taking any or all types of radiographs with several different types of equipment. He/she functions as the first line interface with patients/customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Responsibilities

Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
Demonstrates overall knowledge of exams.
Produces high quality films on a consistent basis.
Understands and properly uses CR, the PRID, ADC Multiloader, and QS workstation.
Writes complete patient histories for the radiologists.
Utilizes PACS with few errors.
Demonstrates overall efficiency of work and time. Utilizes slow time constructively, i.e., stocking rooms, emptying linen, putting away supplies, helping transport, etc.
Assesses patient pain interfering with imaging procedure. Makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
Demonstrates knowledge of how to access Pyxis, what medications are available for what procedures and understands that the doctor verifies the correct medication upon receipt.
Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures (i.e. good handwashing).
Multitasks in several areas.
Acknowledges exams on a timely basis and completely.
Follows dress code as stated in the policy.
Performs Kronos functions such as clocking in/out, vacation time, working in different departments and PTO correctly.
Clocks in on time and is on the floor at their designated starting time.
Performs the AIDET conversation with all patients every time.
Abides by all the standards of behavior for the department.
Takes X-ray call according to monthly schedule that is posted; does not have to be reminded.
