Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM (OT as necessary on Friday)

While reporting directly to the shift lead, the following job responsibilities outline the essential functions of the role within the Thermoforming department. The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in this role is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following.

• Verify job order to determine the correct number and size of corrugated needed for the production run as well as verify all necessary required materials is staged for packing.
• Ensure reclaim cart is positioned and marked according to reclaim guidelines during run.
• Able to visually identify defects to ensure good quality.
• Pack finished goods according to customer specifications.
• Set scales to indicate first full box and monitor during production to make sure the weights do not fluctuate.
• Label and seal boxes and place on a pallet.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately and timely reported.
• Ensure that proper guarding is in place on all machines for a safe working environment.
• Rotate and replace reclaim carts, pallets, and finished goods as needed during process.
• Able to remove scrap from machine and place in designated reclaim cart.
• Monitors reclaim quality according to reclaim procedures.
• Participate in daily housekeeping duties and keep area around machine free of debris.

• You can speak, read, and write English.
• You have prior experience in packing work (preferred).
• You can follow written and oral directions.
• You can operate a pallet jack.
• You are dependable and reliable.
