Material Handler / Warehouse Forklift Operator

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operator in Dekalb, Illinois.

Pay: $20.30/hr schedule:
Three-and-a-half day workweek (Sunday–Tuesday 5:15 AM–4:45 PM; Wednesday 5:15 AM–11:15 AM).

Key responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least one year of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a team in a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record.
• High initiative, accuracy under pressure, and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 35 lb and stand for long periods.
• Commitment to health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
