Shift Manager

Job Overview

This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the only employer and is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant.

• Food Safety – Maintain high food safety standards.
• Internal Communication – Lead communication among crew and other managers during shifts.
• Inventory Management – Monitor and manage inventory levels.
• Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness – Oversee daily housekeeping and cleanliness tasks.
• Managing Crew – Provide leadership to crew and support other managers.
• Quality Food Production – Ensure quality food production practices.
• Exceptional Customer Service – Deliver superior customer service.
• Safety and Security – Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Scheduling – Plan and manage shift scheduling.
• Training – Coach and train crew members.

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced work.
• Minimum age 18 years or older to be a manager in the corporate‑owned and operated restaurant.
