- Respond to service requests and complete repairs promptly while possessing a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the property by repairing issues across parking lot, buildings, and all common areas.
- Clean out vacated apartments.
- Assist the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed.
- Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
- Operate computers and other technological devices to access email and company‑utilized software.
- Meet task deadlines as assigned.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
- A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
- Effective communication with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
- Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company‑utilized software.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all residents, proactively solving issues and creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Maintain the physical condition of the property.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
- Picks up debris and removes other objects from the property.
- Respond to issues outside of the normal work schedule when required.
- Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment. - EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC):
Required for technicians handling refrigerants in HVAC systems. - HVAC Certification:
May include certifications such as HVAC Excellence or equivalent. - Preferred: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator).
- Plumbing or Electrical Licenses.
- Frequently sit, stand, and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is required.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
