Position Summary:

Perform prophylaxis and/or periodontal scaling, examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. Educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. Provide local anesthesia as needed for hygiene procedures or restorative treatment under the Dentist's direction.

Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma or GED required. An Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene is required. Current CPR certification, valid Dental Hygiene License, and ability to administer nitrous oxide/local anesthesia if authorized are necessary. Knowledge of dental software (Eaglesoft preferred) and Microsoft Office is required. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and compliance with vaccination policies are also required.
