Cash Applications Specialist

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Onsite training required

Connect Search is partnering with an established organization in the Delafield, WI area seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to join its accounting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, or general accounting who enjoys working with numbers, processing transactions, and resolving discrepancies.

• Process daily lockbox and ACH payments.
• Match incoming payments to customer invoices.
• Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Review online banking activity and reconcile deposits.
• Research payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Work with the accounting team to ensure timely payment processing.
• Handle high-volume transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting preferred.
• Exposure to ACH payments, lockbox processing, or bank reconciliations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage high‑volume transactions.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Recent graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome.
