Production Lead

Responsibilities- Monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure production associates adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for the line set-up of new jobs, including ensuring line clearance from previous jobs, cleanliness, staffing, and startup.
- Direct personnel on startup of new jobs, ensuring that special instructions, packing, and quality control requirements are understood and followed.
- Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all pertinent information is recorded.
- Oversee sanitation of production work areas.
- Understand the mechanics of packaging machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Machine operation and operating knowledge.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with 2+ years of experience.
- 2+ years of experience in setup and troubleshooting.
- 6+ months of lead experience in supervision, packaging, and general production.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Work EnvironmentThis role operates during the 2nd shift hours from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. The work is conducted in a GMP environment, requiring hair nets, beard nets, smocks, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. The kitchen area is warm, while the packaging and production areas are maintained at room temperature.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delafield, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
