Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and knives.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in daily kitchen prep tasks and maintain stock levels for all stations.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
    • Familiarity with culinary techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods.
    • Experience working as a dietary aide or in catering is a plus but not required.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
