Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is seeking a highly experienced Lead Carpenter to bring craftsmanship and leadership to our residential remodeling projects. This role requires expert-level skills in rough and finish carpentry, especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and rec rooms. If you’re a pro at cabinet hanging, trim work, and leading field operations on-site, we want you on our team. Responsibilities- Perform skilled rough and finish carpentry on residential remodels.
- Lead field work for kitchen, bathroom, and rec room renovations.
- Accurately install and finish cabinetry, trim, and built-ins.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Uphold company values of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service on all job sites.
- Mentor apprentices or junior team members as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.
- 7+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling.
- Mastery of both rough and finish carpentry, including cabinet hanging and trim finishing.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and layout skills.
- Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
