Job Summary
The front desk position is very important as it is the first and last employee to engage with customers and members. This role provides a welcoming introduction to each person who visits the D1 facility. As a front-desk associate you will answer customer service questions, track who is entering and exiting the facility, and assist with daily operations.
You must be reliable and show up on time, be willing to support other team members, and maintain a strong work ethic. You should be high-energy, able to stay consistent in your energy, greet people by name, and convey a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. You should connect with members and hold authentic conversations while staying professional, with the ability to be concise and multi-task to achieve daily objectives.
You will interact with a high volume of people each day and provide consistent service. This role is vital to the success of the company and can be a stepping stone to other positions within the organization. You should spend 85%+ of your time at or near the front desk, with the rest supporting other team tasks.
- Complete Opening Checklist when opening the facility
- Complete Closing Checklist when closing the facility
- Answer all customer support questions for current and new members
- Answer phone calls and take messages for Recruiters and Management
- Check clients into workouts and ensure attendance is accurate
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked with necessary supplies
- Ensure facility cleaning supplies are stocked and ready for use
- Keep fridge and shelves stocked with food and drinks
- Keep gear displays stocked and neat
- Keep track of all cleaning and retail inventory
- Process all ancillary purchases in MINDBODY
- Complete daily social media tasks
- Must be a high-energy individual
- Must have an outgoing personality and be social
- Must have 3 credible references
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
