Lead Receptionist (Conviva Senior Primary Care)
Base pay range: $39,000.00/yr - $49,400.00/yr
Compensation includes a fair pay estimate with potential for higher pay based on experience, location, and performance. This full‑time role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
Responsibilities- Provide a friendly, professional front desk experience: greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Manage the appointment calendar, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Handle billing and payments, including collecting copays at the time of visit and updating patient accounts accordingly.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and offer general information about the practice.
- Keep the reception area organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as monitoring performance metrics, conducting team huddles, and performing center administration duties in the absence of the Center Administrator.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for the receptionist team, providing training, guidance, and support. May travel to support multiple centers.
- Resolve patient and staff issues, escalations, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain patient privacy and comply with all applicable regulations, including screening for tuberculosis (TB) as part of the TB screening program.
- 1+ years of medical reception experience.
- Experience with value‑based care models and medical terminology.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette.
- Team‑player with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Passion for improving patient experiences and care.
- Experience leading a team or department.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours per week)
