Room Attendant – Big Smoke Burger

This hourly Housekeeper position is located at our award‑winning Hampton Inn & Suites DeLand, Florida. The primary role is to clean and maintain guest rooms, report any issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Clean guest rooms and stock supplies, including picking up trash, changing linen and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and dusting rooms, cleaning windows and balconies (80%).
• Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart following safety and security procedures (5%).
• Receive assigned sections, keys, supplies, and priority room requests from the Senior Housekeeper; turn in keys and unused supplies at shift end (5%).
• Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner (5%).
• Report missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and return any articles left in rooms (3%).
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed (2%).

• No formal education required.
• Prior housekeeping experience desirable.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to clean rooms during an eight‑hour shift.
• Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to meet standards of appearance.
• Excellent communication skills with guests.

Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.

Hourly wage: $16.00 – $18.50.
