Must have:
- An Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in IT technical support roles, including at least 1 year in a Level 2 support capacity.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and a valid driver’s license for travel between sites.
- Deliver on-site technical support and maintain IT assets, including computers, printers, servers, networking devices, and software applications.
- Respond promptly to service tickets and manage the remote support queue, ensuring all issues are resolved based on priority and within designated SLAs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct regular system checks and preventive maintenance to maintain stability and security within the IT environment.
- Collaborate with vendors for warranty and repair services.
- Assist in the implementation of new hardware, software deployments, and system upgrades.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for systems, processes, and inventory.
- Train and guide users to promote the efficient use of IT resources.
- Implement and monitor IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hours support, as required.
This position involves working in both a professional office environment and at various on-site locations. On-site duties may include exposure to data centers or server rooms, and occasional travel to different sites within the designated region will be necessary.
