Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Deland, FL 32724

Employment type: Contract

Duration: 06+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate Range: $20.00 – $24.00/hr on W2

Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Perform independent inspections of raw materials, incoming components, and finished products using various inspection gages and visual inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards and maintain records.

Control, maintenance, and calibration of various measuring and test equipment (MT&E) and maintain records.

Assist with other tasks as required to support Engineers in carrying out product-related inspection tasks and ensure maintenance of documentation and records.

• Assist with other tasks as required to support Engineers in carrying out product-related inspection tasks and ensure maintenance of documentation and records.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to interpret engineering prints, drawings, and specifications, apply requirements in various test and inspection activities, and have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to use a range of basic test and measurement tools, including calipers, height gage, micrometers, coordinated measuring machines (CMM), etc.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality technician role
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods
