Quality Technician l - 2nd Shift

Join the Technetics Group as a Quality Technician I for the 2nd Shift.

The Quality Technician I is responsible for the metrology of product manufacturing and ensures the dimensions and form of the product meets Purchase Order and Drawing requirements.

This is 2nd Shift, hours 3:15 pm–11:45 pm with a 30‑minute meal break. We pay $3 per hour shift differential.

• Support production by performing basic quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
• Contribute to maintaining product quality and consistency.
• Handle low to moderate complexity; routine inspection tasks using standard procedures.
• Make decisions within defined parameters for basic quality assessments.
• Refer complex issues to higher‑level technicians or Quality Engineers.
• Maintain clear and accurate inspection records.
• Perform basic inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Use measuring tools to assess product dimensions and quality.
• Document inspection results and report discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining inspection equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.

• Communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Familiarity with basic measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

• Education:
  
  HSD / GED.

0‑2 Years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
