Join the Technetics Group as a Quality Technician I for the 2nd Shift.
Job SummaryThe Quality Technician I is responsible for the metrology of product manufacturing and ensures the dimensions and form of the product meets Purchase Order and Drawing requirements.
ShiftThis is 2nd Shift, hours 3:15 pm–11:45 pm with a 30‑minute meal break. We pay $3 per hour shift differential.
Job Responsibilities- Support production by performing basic quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
- Contribute to maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Handle low to moderate complexity; routine inspection tasks using standard procedures.
- Make decisions within defined parameters for basic quality assessments.
- Refer complex issues to higher‑level technicians or Quality Engineers.
- Maintain clear and accurate inspection records.
- Perform basic inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Use measuring tools to assess product dimensions and quality.
- Document inspection results and report discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining inspection equipment and work area cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Familiarity with basic measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and specifications.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Education:
HSD / GED.
0‑2 Years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
