Located in DeLand, Florida, DeLand Alliance Church is a soon to be launched church plant in a growing community of 78,000 residents that includes Stetson University and its more than 3,500 students. This congregation is in an area known for its small‑town charm and easy proximity to big city amenities. DeLand is less than an hour from Orlando and the Atlantic Ocean.

A recent campus of a larger C&MA congregation, this church has a core group of 75-80 people, strong elder leadership, a solid giving base, and a recently remodeled facility. The people of DeLand Alliance Church are seeking a planting pastor who is a strategic thinker able to cast vision, develop a plan, and bring the vision and planning into reality. He should have the ability to discern partnership opportunities within the community with the goal of consistently engaging unchurched people.

The Planting Pastor will work closely with the Director of Church Multiplication to develop the governance and organizational structure of the church to become a fully accredited church in the C&MA.

Candidates inquiring for this opening should hold at minimum an undergraduate degree, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and exhibit effective pastoral leadership.

All candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.
